Overview

Here you will find the latest updates and new features available in the Omny Platform. It has been organized according to the different applications found in the product. A listing of resolved issues and bug fixes have also been organized in a similar fashion and listed below. 

 

New and Updated Features


Omny Platform

  • Platform overview dashboard shows the status and information from all value pillars in the platform.

Note: The Platform overview is only available to users of the entire Omny platform. Some users may have more limited functionality. Contact your account manager to increase your functionality.   

  • (Beta) Platform task management – Enables the creation of tasks and connects them to recommendations and findings within the platform. Currently, tasks can only be connected to nonconformities from safeguards.

  • A new sidebar makes it easier to move between applications within the Omny platform

 

Explorer

  • Network connectivity view in Explorer allows users to browse the network from a connectivity perspective.
  • Network flow view in Explorer visualizes the flow and direction of network communication.
  • Split between CPE and part number on devices for vulnerability handling. 
  • Support for more metadata e.g. zones and Purdue level. 
  • (Beta) Chat with your data using AI, powered by our new actionable framework.
  • Support is available for workspace reset.
  • Support is available for drag and drop.
  • Support  is available for document annotations, allowing for the annotation of any icon or visual element in a document with reference to data assets in the graph.
  • Graph UI now creates a shareable, context-aware link. This is the capability to share the view from one user’s screen to the next, including selected filters, tabs, editable nodes from FDM, and/or visual highlights.

 

Safeguards

  • New navigation and UI improvements put in place.

Risk

  • (Beta) Support for Impact within scenario Risk
    • Enables the configuration and assessment of consequence-reducing mitigations.
      Note: Support for Impact is released as a Beta feature and is available upon request.   
  • Support for mitigation self assessment within a risk scenario. 

 

Resolved Issues and Fixes


Risk

  • Fixed: Steps without techniques in the Platform’s attack graph will no longer block an attack. Steps can now be created without techniques and without blocking an attack. 
  • Fixed: Incorrect protection levels.
  • Fixed:  Incorrect handling of confidence on threat actor assessments.   
  • General UI improvements. 
  • Improved attack graph step sorting.


Explorer

  • Numerous bug fixes, including layout issues, graph rendering crashes, broken selection, and change log handling, panel behaviors, and graph plugin switching.
  • Improved error handling (e.g., fallback headers, workspace switching, selection errors).
  • Fixed: Annotation, change log, and revert persistence bugs.
  • Fixed: Issues with handling older change sets and enum inputs.
  • Improved behavior of auto-apply and type-checks.
  • Fixed: Camera panel defaults, fallback when camera is unavailable.
  • Improved Scroll area handling 
  • Visual and layout tweaks for table controls, graph panels, workspaces.

 

Beta Features

All beta features can be enabled in your Omny Platform account. Go to your profile, then click on Projects to review and enable beta features.
