Overview

Here you will find the latest updates and new features available in the Omny Platform. It has been organized according to the different applications found in the product. A listing of resolved issues and bug fixes have also been organized in a similar fashion and listed below. 

 

New and Updated Features


Workspaces

Introducing workspaces. Create templated workspaces for specific processes and custom views. Start building a view for your own purposes, such as, stakeholder presentations, analytics purposes, engagement sessions or focused activities.

 Includes: 
  • Empty workspace template creation
  • Fallback logic if local workspace templates are missing
  • Proper panel initialization on workspace or panel switches
  • Support for renaming and duplication of workspaces

Plugins

Plugins together with workspaces allow for flexible setup of working environments adapted to individual users needs.

"Create new" function

An intuitive way to create new items in the platform for tasks, devices, networks, etc.


Research Assistant (Beta)

Introducing an AI powered assistant that actively supports users in exploring data, revealing context, making intelligent edits, and managing content. Thereby transforming tedious tasks into one-liners.

  •   Added research assistant & query generation tool
  •    Update graph tool added to the assistant
  •    Research assistant now includes links when referencing entities 
  •    Sparql executor in AI chat 
  •    Tool for visualizing query results 
  •    Injection of Studio schema into query tool for better query suggestions

Within Risk

  • New support for "changeseats" over workspaces (featureflagged, scalable change management)

Search & Navigation

  • Added search shortcut indication in the menubar trigger for faster access (#280)

 

Layout

  • Initial graph layout improvements with better similarity threshold

  • Move layout into the graph model for better flexibility and fewer bugs

  • Deterministic layout for network topology

 

User Experience

  • Improved chat UI rendering

  • Scrollbars, sticky headers, and layout optimizations for chat tables

  • Tooltip improvements for dropdown buttons

  • Better styling feedback for keyboard interactions on resizable panels

 

Filtering & Data Interaction

  • Regex support for document annotation filters

  • Better handling of empty and null filters

  • Guidance added for when to obtain UI context

  • Badge variants and consistent visual representation for statuses 

  

Data Management

  • SQLitebased local sync engine for FDM with autogenerated schema using Kysely
