Here you will find the latest updates and new features available in the Omny Platform. It has been organized according to the different applications found in the product. A listing of resolved issues and bug fixes have also been organized in a similar fashion and listed below. 

 

New and Updated Features

Network Graph Visualizations

Discover a new way to map and edit network architecture with an intuitive design and better alignment with your security preferences. 

Includes

• Hierarchical flows and labeled connectivity views
• Save node positions, toggle interactivity, context menus, and customizable edges
• Purdue-aligned design with optimal L0 - L5 levels for segmentation
• Visual cues supporting best practice network segmentation across zones and assets
  
  

Scenarios in Explorer (Beta)

Easily create, browse, and explore risk scenarios directly in Explorer.

Includes

• A risk matrix that is a customizable, customer-aligned risk visualization and creation machine
• Mitigations: shared mitigation entities that are usable across scenarios and compliance processes

Rich Text Editor (Beta)

The first step toward tailored, data-aware documents. 

Includes

• "I" command for inserting platform entities and filtering content
• Full formatting options and custom tables
• Ideal for management reporting and meeting summaries

Explorer Enhancements

Canvas Drag and Drop: Add and arrange panels by dragging items directly onto the canvas

Panel Maximize/Minimize: One click maximized view for focused work; minimize to return the original full layout

Empty Panel Placeholders: "Add..." actions or drag and drop for a quick setup, and built-in tips and shortcuts for fast onboarding

Resolved Issues and Improvements

Document Viewer

• Clicking links or lists now navigates directly to the referenced annotation inside the document

AI Chat (Beta)

• AI-generated suggestions exist now to help users discover assistant capabilities

• Available when opening an empty workspace or adding an AI Chat panel
  
  

Studio UX Enhancements

• Menubar/Search polish with clearer panel descriptions and simpler selection

• Keyboard navigation improvements for hierarchy

• Table/Details: compact mode, vertical gridlines, enum grouping, better groupBy, sorting, and ordering

• Change Management UI: improved statuses, titles, default sorting, icons, and coalescing behavior

• Sidebar/menubar updates with template icons, descriptions, and tooltips
  
  

Performance

• General performance improvements in Explorer and Risk
• Network Graph optimizations: render only when visible, pre-layout node hiding, Purdue-level coloring, and visual refinements

All beta features can be enabled in your Omny Platform account. Go to your profile, then click on Projects to review and enable beta features.
